The first webinar will focus on Food Security and Agriculture\, with presentations by our knowledgeable guests: \n\nChantelle Girgan\, ARC-PHP\nErich van Wyk\, SANBI\nRiana Jacobs-Venter\, ARC-PHP\n\nThe purpose of these webinars is for scientists to express the value of their work\, show how collections contribute to major sectors like healthcare\, agriculture etc.\, show how collections benefit society\, show why government needs to fund collections\, for the NSCF Community to be aware of the research that is happening in the network\, and for scientists to see opportunities for collaborations. \nThe structure of the webinar will include three presentations by our guests\, followed by a Q&A session. \nOur guests published their work in the “Why our collections matter” showcase that is available on the NSCF website.
