Q: What inspired you to make this career choice?
A: I always loved nature. That’s why I chose to study Natural Sciences. However, in my final year of undergrad, I had a Conservation Biology module that included a chapter on invertebrates diversity which I found intriguing, particularly when we got introduced to the work of E.O. Wilson. This led me to pursue my postgrad in Entomology, the biodiversity and conservation of what others call “creepy crawlies”, I just found to be really fascinating.
